The leading smartphone manufacturer Vivo is ready to launch its new Vivo V5 Plus this week. The company has also started accepting the pre-orders of the smartphone. The smartphone will cost something around RM 1,799 (roughly 27,500 INR).
Speaking about the specifications of new Vivo V5 Plus, the phone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920. Fueling the phone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with 4GB of RAM. The internal storage of the smartphone comes with a capacity of 64GB that can be extended further up to 256GB via MicroSD card.
The new Vivo V5 Plus runs on Android 6.0. This is highly disappointing. Even though the phone is launched post the new OS update, it is not having the latest Android 7.0 Nougat in the box. In the camera section, the phone is integrated with 16MP of rear camera along with LED flash. The phone has dual front-facing cameras of 20MP and 8MP each.
Speaking of the connectivity, the Vivo V5 Plus has dual-SIM function, 4G, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS. The phone is powered by a 3,160mAh of battery.
Well, the main reason of the phone to not be popular among the users will be the OS update. Users are expecting the new Android 7.0 Nougat update in the latest smartphone. The price tag may also be one of the factors restraining the growth of the new Vivo V5 Plus. Let us see and watch which factor will hamper the most.
