Previous month we viewed 3G version of Nokia 3310 posted on the U.S. FCC (Federal Communications Commission). But since then nothing tangible proof about the phone was discovered until now. An Irish telecom operator has verified that the revitalized 3G variant of Nokia 3310 will be coming soon by the end of September or in the first week of October.
It is important citing that the present model of Nokia 3310 does not have support to 3G connectivity. If the 3G version is made public it is expected to hit the shores of India as well. A cost rise for the new version can be anticipated as well. The present Nokia 3310 handset has a cost of Rs 3310. It is obtainable in Grey, Yellow, Red, and Blue color variants.
The listing of 3G Nokia 3310 on FCC proposes the handset to sustain 3G/2G bands in the U.S. Even though there is no verification about the specific version by HMD, the company approved to make Nokia-branded phones. The CEO Arto Numella of the former firm, who lately resigned had told that the firm is aware of the need of 3G variant of Nokia 3310 and are eager on meeting their demands.
“We have been reporting to what user claim, and what they require to make sure that gadgets will be well-matched all over the world. That is somewhat users have been requesting, and we are very eager on meeting expectations of the users going forward,” he claimed when asked about the 3G version of the Nokia 3310 model. Earlier speculations also propose that the feature handset may come alongside the forthcoming Nokia 8 handset.
Speaking about the Nokia 8, HMD Global has propelled out invites for the roll out of its forthcoming handset in next week of August. The invite reads, “exclusive gathering” to check out “the next milestone for Nokia phones.” The event will occur in London. Nokia 8 will also be the 1st Android smartphone to come with Carl Zeiss optics with Nokia branding. Let us see if Nokia 3310 and Nokia 8 will be able to attract the users.
