Meizu, the Chinese smartphone brand, has showcased a picture of a forthcoming handset that is fully bezel-free. The image came up on Weibo and according to the image it is dubbed as Meizu mblu Zero, with “New display world” as the tag line. The post from Weibo also cited that the handset will be accessible with as starting price tag of 4,000 Chinese Yuan.
Meizu has rolled out 2 new flagship handsets, Meizu Pro 7 Plus and Meizu Pro 7, in China, its home turf. The biggest feature of the 2 handsets is that they come with a Super AMOLED secondary display at the rear, which can display notifications for messages, calls, and more. It also comes in handy while snapping selfies with the rear camera, since it can be employed to create shots. Both Pro 7 Plus and Pro 7 feature dual rear cameras with 12 MP + 12 MP Sony IMX386 sensors, coupled with a 16 MP front-facing camera. The handset operates on Flyme 6, the Android 7.0 Nougat-based OS, and provides Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, ad 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options.
Both the handsets are accessible in Red, Black, Silver, and Gold color options. Meizu Pro 7 sports a full HD 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and provides 2 choices in when it comes for processor, MediaTek Helio X30 and MediaTek Helio P25. The later comes with 64 GB of internal memory, while the former has 128 GB of internal memory. The handset comprises 3000mAh battery with fast-charging support of the company—mCharge 3.0.
Xiaomi too is getting ready up to roll out the Mi Mix 2, a bezel-less phablet. CEO of the company, Lei Jun, rolled out a pic on the microblogging site, unveiling the retail box of the upcoming handset. Jun has also declared that the Mi Mix 2 has already entered into group production, circuitously confirming that the handset will be there in great quantity by the time it strikes the market.
